This is an original booklet published by the Manhattan Electrical Supply Company, compiled by Edward Trevert. It is an early account of the benefits and operation of an electrotherapeutic device by a company that made machines for home use. Like other electrotherapeutic vibrators marketed in the late 19th to the middle of the 20th century, it purported to rid the user of a wide range of ailments.
With full directions for home treatment of everything from acne, asthma, and inflammation of the bowels, to worms, weak lungs, and weak ankles. There are also a few illustrated pages in the back advertising some electric devices.
Soft cover, bound with staples.
