Description: Fabulous antique honeycomb Valentine (circa 1910's/20's). Unsigned but most likely the work of the wonderful Chloe Preston. Embossed, 3-D style, die cut, large piece.
Two darling children stand under umbrellas . . . one of them a large honeycomb.
The second image above (click arrow) shows the piece next to a soda can (not included) to give you an idea of the size of this Valentine.
Text: (printed on the card attached to the honeycomb) To my Valentine. Cupid fishing in a brook, Caught two hearts on his hook. One was yours and one was mine, he sends them for a Valentine.
Approximate Size (in inches): 7 x 7ΒΌ
Condition: Very nice condition with barely any wear. I'm not sure if there ever was more of a tip to the large umbrella, but if there was, it has come off. There is a VERY small hole just below the little girls' umbrella.
