Description: Delicate antique hand-colored botanical plate from the scarce volume: Our Hardy Flowers, How to Cultivate and Rear Them from Seeds, Cuttings, and Layers by Benjamin Maund. Conceived in a somewhat scientific fashion, portions of these lovely images have been left uncolored so the viewer may examine leaf and flower structures without the distraction of color. Illustrated by E.D. Smith, engraved by S. Watts.

Printed on cream colored stock. Reverse side is blank.
