1955 Saturday Evening Post Cover ~ Red Headed Boy Plays Violin

In Stock 0

This is the original cover of The Saturday Evening Post dated February 5, 1955. An adorable red-haired boy concentrates intently on his violin practice.

Artist/Illustrator: Dick Sargent

Approximate Size (in inches): 10½ x 13½

Condition: Good with normal age wear particularly around edges. An area of wear underneath the masthead (below the date). Address label at lower right. There is a library blind stamp (a colorless impression that is embossed on paper) near the top right.

This is the cover only . . . not the entire magazine.

Please note:

Although we have given a very general grade for condition, please keep in mind that magazine covers suffer much harsher treatment than the rest of the magazine. After years of being handled and tossed around, it is likely that an old cover will show signs of wear including small rips, creases, discoloration/staining, edge chipping, general surface wear, etc.

If there is anything more severe, we will note that in the description. It is also helpful to look closely at the picture(s) we have provided above to get a better idea of condition of this cover.
