1942 WWII New Yorker Magazine Cover ~ Rea Irvin

This is the original cover of the New Yorker Magazine dated June 13, 1942. WWII related cover shows a couple on a roof trying to identify what I assume would be enemy aircraft.

Approximate Size (in inches): 8½ x 11¾

Condition: Good with normal age wear. Very light vertical fold down center. Very small piece of lower right corner tip is clipped.

This is the cover only . . . not the entire magazine.

Although we have given a very general grade for condition, please keep in mind that magazine covers suffer much harsher treatment than the rest of the magazine. After years of being handled and tossed around, it is likely that an old cover will show signs of wear including small rips, creases, discoloration/staining, edge chipping, general surface wear, etc.
