This is the original cover of the National Farm Journal dated July 1930. Independence Day cover has a charming image of a boy whose arms are overloaded with all sorts of fireworks.
Artist/Illustrator: Jean Oldham
Approximate Size (in inches): 8¼ x 11½
Condition: Good with moderate age wear. Lower left corner is clipped. Some writing in left margin area (can be cropped away). Address label in header area.
This is the cover only . . . not the entire magazine.
Please note: Although we have given a very general grade for condition, please keep in mind that magazine covers suffer much harsher treatment than the rest of the magazine. After years of being handled and tossed around, it is likely that an old cover will show signs of wear including small rips, creases, discoloration/staining, edge chipping, general surface wear, etc. If there is anything more severe, we will note that in the description. It is also helpful to look closely at the picture(s) we have provided above to get a better idea of condition of this cover.
