This is the original cover of The Farmer's Wife Magazine from December 1924. Gorgeous illustration by C.M. Burd shows Santa sitting in front of the fireplace surrounded by three children who are clearly happy to see him.
Artist/Illustrator: C.M. Burd
Approximate Size (in inches): 10.25 x 14.25
Condition: Fair to good. Rip at left edge has been repaired from behind. Some additional edge wear. Some foxing. Wear at top right. Address stamped at top right. Lower right corner is clipped slightly.
This is the cover only . . . not the entire magazine.
A note about vintage covers: Old magazine covers understandably take more of a beating than the interior of a magazine. After years of being handled, it is likely the cover will exhibit one or more of the following: general surface wear; small rips and tears; areas of discoloration/staining; etc. We have provided a brief general description of condition, but a picture is worth a thousand words. Please view the picture(s) we have provided to get a better idea of the condition of this cover.
