1911 "The Sunnyside" Antique Funeral Trade Magazine

This is "The Sunnyside," a magazine for the funeral industry. Dated April 15, 1911. Contains fabulous old ads for hearses, caskets, embalming fluid, etc. Advertisers such as Crane & Breed, New York & Brooklyn Casket Co., Sayers & Scovill, Champion Chemical Co. and many others.

Also contains articles and news regarding the industry including a state-by-state listing of recent goings-on such as "Garvey & Arnold, of Wilmore (Kentucky), sustained a heavy fire loss in a general conflagration in that town on February 27."

Magazine measures 11"x15" and contains 50 pages (including front and back cover).

Condition: The front cover which contains an ad for a Crane & Breed Grecian Funeral Car, shown in the first image above, has become separated from the rest of the magazine and is in poor to fair condition with some rips and tears. The back cover has also become separated with some rips and tears, but not quite as bad as the front. The interior pages are in very good overall condition.
