Original antique two page magazine ad for Steam Car Manufacturer "The Mobile Company of America." Great old ad features one-legged bicyclist Charles Kilpatrick who performed the feat of driving down a chute in a steam automobile at the Forepaugh & Sells Circus at Madison Square Garden. Includes a photo of the event as well as a photo of Mr. Kilpatrick standing atop one of the automobiles.

Tagline or sample ad copy: The slightest defect in workmanship or material meant almost certain death.
