Beautiful old hand colored engraved plate from Le Bon Ton Journal de Modes, one of the finest fashion journals published in Paris. Two Victorian women; one in a costume of lace--black glace silk skirt covered with flounces of imitation Chantilly lace; the other in a costume of "willow leaves" colored silk poplin, and rosewood colored velvet. Reverse side is blank.
