1939 Emmett Watson Hunting Print ~ Calendar Sample

This is an original vintage lithograph featuring artwork by Emmett Watson. Two men are out hunting with their dogs when they are surprised by an angry swarm of bees.

This is actually a salesman's calendar sample . . . the month of November 1939 is glued to the lower right hand corner. As this was a sample, there are no other calendar pages. The name of the store that appears at the top is Knopp & Metzger Dry Goods, Groceries & Poultry in Fredericksburg, Texas.

Litho by A. Scheer. Reverse side is blank. There is about ¼" white margin around the image. The title of the print ("The Unexpected") appears in the bottom margin.

Approximate Size (in inches): 12 x 16½

Condition: Very good overall condition.
