Original vintage magazine ad promoting a sales plan for business people in Kearney Nebraska. Ad text touts the sales generated from Farm & Fireside Magazine. The people of Kearney (because they were "hustlers") sold farmers all over Buffalo County the idea of coming to Kearney to buy goods. The result of that was that in the previous year "seventy percent of Kearney's total retail trade was farm business." They go on to say "Good roads and the automobile have brought hundreds of new customers within easy trading distance of their stores."
There are three small photos: A typical Saturday on Central Avenue (Gaston Music sign is near the forefront); one of five dairy herds that are a source of income in Kearney; part of a crowd attending the "Great Day" celebration.
This is a two page ad in two pieces.
